Die Cut Machine Giveaway

In the April/May issue of Simply Handmade we took a closer look at some of our favorite die cut machines. We reviewed machines from Sizzix, QuicKutz, Pazzles, Provo Craft, and Making Memories and now we are giving a Sizzix Big Shot and a QuicKutz Silhouette away to two lucky winners! To enter, leave a comment on this post telling us which of the featured favorite dies from the article is your favorite. We'll make it easy...they're on page 69. Next week we will share some tidbits about these awesome machines. In the meantime, grab a copy of the April/May issue and enter your comment by Friday, April 17th. Don't worry, we'll remind you between now and then - we wouldn't want you to forget!

P.S. You can earn an extra entry by posting on your blog about the contest. Just add a link to your blog in your comment!

guess I am still a fan of older style because I like the Big Shotz and the bracket or top notch die. Great to read the differences on the machines. Although, it would be great to have an electronic die cut machine. Would go with Cricut because the ease of buying the cartridges.

Hands down I like the Silhouette the best. It's so versatile and I can do just about anything with it - I love the Illustrator plug-in so I can custom make my own shapes and really play around with fonts a lot more than the other die cut machines. I played around with the software for Silhouette (just downloaded the software, don't actually have the machine yet - would LOVE one though!) and it's really user friendly and a lot of fun to play around with.

Silhouette for me please!

The Silhouette is the power house here -- it's ability to cut out dingbat fonts is the BOMB. Love that you can get so many shapes and fonts for FREE. It makes it the best value in town. I'm super excited about the new one that gives some portability. It's great if you have a smaller workspace. You don't have to change your desk every time you want to cut something.

Hi, I've seen crafts done with both of these machines and the results with either are wonderful! I like that the Silhouette is more digital-based, but there are some great dies out for the Big Shot as well. I do not have access to your current issue to tell you what my favorite new die is, so I don't know if I'm ineligible, but I did put a link to this post on my blog: http://twohappystampers.blogspot.com/2009/04/theres-giveaway-going-on.html

QuicKutz Silhouette sounds like an amazing tool and I would love to win it! Thank you much.

I can't really say which is my favorite die, but the deer sure is cute.

I think the Big Shot would ROCK! Especially the alphas, deer, frames...too many to pick from!

While I don't have any I am always loving the Quickutz dies when I see them used. So cute. I have a Cricut and I am embarrassed to admit I have used it only once or twice. However the Big Shot is something I'd love to own.

I really love the flourishes and their ornateness (not sure that's a word even) from Quickutz -- perfect additions to cards and to some album pages I'm envisioning.

I so want a silhouette! When it comes to cutting letters for all my scrapbook pages, it looks like the true type fonts would be a life-saver!
